Giuseppe was born
in Palermo Sicily and educated in Italy and France. He
was a freestyle and roman Greco wrestler and the
Flanders freestyle champion in 1960. His brother was a
professional boxer in 1952 along with his other relative
former World Champion Giovanni Parisi. He has followed
the sports of boxing several years and was a former
journalist for Chicago Boxing Magazine since 1999 until
2004

 Rick Pineda, born and raised in Gary, Indiana hometown of world champion Tony Zale, and legendary cutman Chuck Bodak who taught Rick about boxing as a little boy, since 1958 Rick boxed as an amateur in the Silver Gloves and Golden Gloves on Mayor Richard G Hatcher's boxing team in Gary,Indiana.
Rick became a Union Ironworker by Trade and has been a member in good standings for the last 30 years, but his love for boxing never changed, He reunited with Chuck Bodak while living in Manhattan Beach, CA. in 1986 and eventually moved to Las Vegas, NV. in the year 1991 and Chuck Bodak introduced Rick to boxing Editor Sal Santamaria of Chicago Boxing Magazine. Rick became interested in photography and Chicago Boxing gave him his first start shooting as a professional.It was there that Rick met Showtime photographer Tom Casino who took time teaching Rick the fine art of action photography.
Rick credits Tom Casino for everything he knows about boxing photography. Rick is the personal photographer for former WBA World Champion and current WBC Champion Joel Casamayor and IBF Pan Pacific Champion Lovemore N'dou along with WBO World Champion Felix Sturm, WBO Champion Joan Guzman, WBC Champion Ricardo Mayorga, IBF Champion Juan Urango, WBC Champion Oscar "Chololo" Larios, Marco Antonio Rubio, and boxing great legendary Roberto Duran. Rick also shot for Amy Hayes the first female ring announcer in boxing, and was lucky enough to photograph Amy Hayes Lady Of The Ring Limited Edition 2004 Calendar.
